A View from the Other Side

The group exhibition of leading media artists from Finland and Korea A View from the Other Side at Sookmyung Women’s University Moonshin Museum is opened on Wednesday the 22nd of October. It is the first exhibition in Korea to present the artwork of the internationally acclaimed Finnish media artists. A View from the Other Side looks at landscapes captured by artists from two different countries which have different histories, and cultures with different natural environments. The landscapes are mainly cityscapes rather than natural scenes, and invisible landscapes where different historical, cultural, social and personal backgrounds and viewpoints intersect and coexist. The exhibition shows works in pairs according to their concepts, methods, and visual impressions.

Finnish artists Patrik Söderlund and Visa Suonpää (IC-98), Elena Näsänen and Lauri Astala will attend the opening of the exhibition on the 22nd of October from 3pm to 5pm.
